College and a Bagel

Its hard to say which one is bigger news.....

The first is that IT Central has joined forces with Onondaga Community College and is offering students at IT the chance to graduate from high school with an Associates Degree from OCC along with their HS diploma. Yes, two for the price of one!! Full details here.

Speaking of great deals, S2S is happy to announce the official opening of the Early Bird Cafe this Friday. We are hoping for a turnout of around 30 students and staff. If all goes well, we have plans of doing this on at least two Fridays every month.

We are always looking for menu ideas. Please post some in the comments section.

Valentines Day Dance

As you can see from the photos, a good time was had by all as the IT students got their groove on at the Valentines Dance. Along with the great music there was great food too. You had to be there to understand the appeal of bottled water served with a scoop of Kool Aid!

Fast Times at IT

I happened to overhear a conversation between Mr. List and a student about testing their reflexes in science class, and wondered just how much the aging process had slowed me down. Hardly at all, as I found out by taking the test here.

The S2S Breakfast Cafe

This may become a reality soon. Depending on the feedback we get from the surveys handed out, we are seriously thinking of improving on the school breakfast by offering a wider selection of food in the morning for a small price. Judging from comments I've overheard, many students are excited about this and want it badly. Currently in our menu we are offering breakfast sandwiches, bagels, muffins, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Further suggestions are welcome.

By the way, we haven't decided on a name yet, so any suggestions would be welcome!

Newsflash: We have settled on the name Early Bird Cafe. Has a nice ring to it and reminds us all that our official mascot is the Eagle.
